This page covers this website, getguestwork.com. It is written in plain language and describes what we actually do.

The announcement list

When you join the list we store:

• your email address
• the answers you choose to give about your team and how many events you run
• the pricing plan you clicked on, if any
• the campaign tags in the link you arrived from (for example utm_source) and the site that referred you
• the country your request came from, as reported by our hosting provider

We use this to tell you when Guestwork opens and to understand which kinds of teams are interested. We don’t sell it, share it with advertisers, or add you to anyone else’s list.

To guard against spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for up to 24 hours. We can’t turn that hash back into your IP address.

The list is stored in a database run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider.

Analytics

This site uses Abner, a cookieless analytics tool, to count page views and a few events such as a completed signup. It doesn’t set cookies or follow you across other sites.

Deleting your information

Email hello@getguestwork.com and we’ll remove your address and answers from the list.

The Guestwork app

The Guestwork product has its own data practices, covered in the app. Nothing you enter on this website is shared with the app until you create an account there.
